2 In Chapter III – Border Measures – of Title XV – Action for Infringement of Rights – of the draft revision of Decision 344 of the Andean Community – Common Regime on Industrial Property – there is provision for the protection of the holder of a trademark registration against import or export of products infringing the registration. According to the draft, small quantities of goods that are not of a commercial nature and are included in the personal luggage of visitors or are sent in small amounts are excluded from application of border measures. It should be noted that the section on border measures in this draft has met with the consensus of the five Andean countries.
