The Chairman recalled that, at the last meeting of the Council, support had been expressed for the general thrust of the ideas put forward in document PC/IPL/7/Add.2, paragraphs 18 to 21, namely requesting the International Bureau of WIPO to handle the administration of these notifications on behalf of the Council for TRIPS. He suggested to come back to this issue in connection with the agenda item on arrangements for cooperation with WIPO.
