The Trade Marks (International Registrations Designating the European Community, etc.) Regulations 2004
The Regulations amend the Trade Marks Act 1994 and the Community Trade Mark Regulations 1996. The Regulations enable UK procedures for existing types of trade marks to apply to a new category of international trade marks ceated by the European Community's accession to the international system of trade marks (Madrid Protocol). The Regulations also extend the number of courts in the UK which are designated as Community trade mark courts. - Amends/replaces: Trade Marks Act 1994; The Community Trade Mark Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/1908, amended by SI 2004/949)
