6. Brief description

The Rules amend the Trade Marks Rules 2008 and the Registered Designs Rules 2006 as amended. Where various time periods are prescribed, the way these are computed is amended so the date on which a relevant event occurred is not included. The Rules also correct a defect in the drafting of rule 23(2) of the Registered Design Rules.
