6. Brief description

Enables the Commission to enforce articles 85 and 86. Art. 3 provides for orders that firms should terminate an infringement and art. 6-9 provide for exemptions. Most agreements which the parties want exempted must be notified to the Commission under art. 4 and 5. Art. 11-14 enable the Commission to require information, while art. 15 and 16 provide for fines and penalties. Art. 17 provides for appeals against decisions to the Court of Justice.
