2. Description

In accordance with Article 4 paragraph (d) of the TRIPS Agreement Austria has the honour to notify to the Council for TRIPS bilateral agreements with the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy and Spain concerning the protection of indications of origin of goods, of designation of origin, the protection of general designation of agricultural and industrial products as well. These bilateral agreements have been concluded before the entry into force of the WTO Agreement and are attached in the corresponding languages.1 The entry into force of these agreements is indicated as follows: -Czech Republic - 26 February 1981 -France - 22 September 1975 -Greece - 19 August 1972 -Italy - 1 September 1954 -Spain - 15 December 1977
