Czech Republic
In accordance with Article 4, paragraph (d) of the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, on behalf of the Czech Republic I have the honour to notify to the Council for TRIPS the following international agreements which entered into force prior to the entry into force of the WTO Agreement: - Agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Swiss Confederation on the Protection of Indications of Source, Appellations of Origin, and Other Geographical Denominations which entered into force on 14 January 1976; - Agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Austria on the Protection of Indications of Source, Appellations of Origin and Other Denominations Referring to the Origin of Agricultural and Industrial Products which entered into force on 26 February 1981. Both agreements remain in force for the Czech Republic as one of the new successor states of the former Czechoslovakia. Until further notice the list of agreements cannot be regarded as complete and may thus be updated at a later stage, following an ongoing process of review.
