305. The representative of Zimbabwe supported the holding of the regional workshop for LDCs in Dar es Salaam. He asked whether there were plans for workshops for developing country Members in Africa. The representative of Morocco said that his country was very interested in the Joint Initiative due to the experience that it had gained concerning intellectual property, particularly in relation to technical assistance. He asked whether the regional workshop for Arab countries was limited to LDCs, and what were the criteria used in choosing experts to provide technical cooperation under the Joint Initiative.
