188. The Chairman recalled that the Council had traditionally undertaken its annual review of technical cooperation at its September meeting. He suggested that the Council once more invite developed country Members to supply information on their activities pursuant to Article 67 of the TRIPS Agreement. Other Members who also made available technical cooperation could also be encouraged to share information on these activities if they so wished. He also suggested that once more the Council invite those intergovernmental organizations that had observer status in the TRIPS Council to provide information on their activities of relevance and, further, that the WTO Secretariat be also instructed to report on its activities. Given that this year the Council had not scheduled a meeting for September, he suggested that this information be provided in time for the Council's meeting scheduled for 18-21 November. In order to allow its timely circulation before the meeting, he suggested that the Council request this information to be made available by the end of October.
