The Chairman informed the Council that, in the context of the follow-up to the 11 reviews that had been initiated at the Council's meetings since April 2001 but which still remained on the Council's agenda, Egypt had provided, since the Council's last meeting, responses to all outstanding question posed to it. These responses, together with the responses it had provided earlier, had been circulated in document IP/Q/EGY/1. The Chairman suggested that the regular review of the legislation of Egypt be deleted from the agenda, it being understood that any delegation could revert to any matter stemming from the review at any time.
