33. The Chairman recalled that, at its meeting in March 2006, the Council had agreed to maintain its present method of work on these matters, and to keep this method under review to assess whether any change might prove appropriate in the light of developments. He therefore suggested that the Council continue its past practice of discussing these three agenda items together on the basis of the contributions by Members. He recalled that, at its meeting in October 2006, the Council had had before it a new communication from Peru (IP/C/W/484) that provided comments in relation to an earlier communication from the United States in document IP/C/W/469.
