5. Statement/summary of statement

57. The representative of Argentina did not support the artificial parallelism between the three TRIPS issues as proposed in document TN/C/W/52. She said that Argentina also suffered from misappropriation of genetic resources, but it did not endorse the disclosure proposal. She said that Members should continue discussion without forgetting that substantive work was being done in WIPO and the CBD.
