86. The representatives of the European Communities thanked Sierra Leone and Uganda for their individual submissions on their priority needs for technical and financial cooperation in order to assist them take the necessary steps to implement the Agreement. From the outset, his delegation had indicated that it would be ready to look into them in a positive spirit. Regarding the submission by Uganda, his delegation had agreed to support a number of intellectual property activities identified by Uganda. As mentioned by Uganda, two intellectual property projects had already been launched. His delegation was also working with Sierra Leone on its request for technical and financial cooperation and he hoped to be able to provide the same kind of assistance and support to it. His delegation stood ready to consider any new submission of priority needs by other LDC Members. His delegation supported the suggestion made by Switzerland to make relevant information on existing expertise available to the Council.
