95. The Chairperson informed the Council that, at its meeting on 20 March 2009, the Dispute Settlement Body had adopted the Panel report on China – Measures Affecting the Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, a complaint by the United States. This information could be found in document IP/D/26/Add.1. 96. Regarding the status of acceptances of the Protocol Amending the TRIPS Agreement that was done in Geneva on 6 December 2005, she said that, since the Council's meeting in March, no new instruments of acceptance had been deposited. The list of Members that had accepted the Protocol was contained in document IP/C/W/490/Rev.4, which the Secretariat would continue to update periodically. She recalled that the Protocol was open for acceptance by Members until 31 December 2009 or such later date as might be decided by the Ministerial Conference. She encouraged those Members that had not yet notified their acceptance of the Protocol to ensure that necessary measures were being taken in their capitals to allow the consideration of the acceptance in a timely fashion.
