133. The representative of Australia thanked the Secretariat for the workshop, in particular for making it a practical and frank exercise and for coordinating a diverse and relevant range of presenters. Australia had found the exchanges enlightening and useful, particularly the sharing of national experiences by LDCs. She thanked the Members who had commented on their needs assessment process. Australia was committed to meeting its technical cooperation capacity building and assistance obligations under the TRIPS Agreement. With regard to the Brazilian proposal to incorporate the WIPO Development Agenda into the WTO, she supported the statement made by the United States.
