The representative of Argentina informed the Council that the draft law for the approval of the Protocol Amending the TRIPS Agreement had passed the first steps in the relevant procedures of the Senate. In the chamber of deputies, the Commissions of Foreign Affairs, Religious Affairs and Industry had expressed a favourable opinion. On 28 September 2010, the draft law had been included on the agenda for the plenary meeting.
