The representative of the United States, introducing his delegation's Article 67 report, said that the United States engaged in IPR technical assistance and capacity building on a significant and regular basis. The present report detailed much of the IPR technical assistance and capacity building efforts in WTO Members around the world. In the reporting period, the United States held at least 135 programmes providing training to thousands of WTO Members' citizens from over 120 participating countries. He said that he looked forward to providing updates on these activities where necessary each year and that he would be pleased to discuss further with other Members on a bilateral basis if they had specific questions.
