Ambassador Dacio Castillo (Honduras)
2.3 Arrangements for the review of the national implementing legislation of Montenegro
18. The Chairman recalled that, at its meeting in June 2012, he had informed the Council that Montenegro had become a new Member of the WTO, and that it had agreed to apply the TRIPS Agreement no later than the date of its accession to the WTO, without recourse to any transitional period. As requested by the Council, the Secretariat had been in contact with Montenegro concerning the Council's notification procedures. As the Council had not yet received Montenegro's initial notification of its TRIPS implementation, he suggested that the Council revert to the arrangements for the review of Montenegro's national implementing legislation at its next meeting.
