383.   The delegation of Japan hereby expresses its regret over the fact that, at the last TRIPS Council meeting, a request of consultation on a particular case was introduced under the agenda item 14 "Information on relevant developments elsewhere in the WTO", despite the fact that no request was made from either of the parties. 384.   This practice of introducing ongoing dispute settlement cases is unique to TRIPS Council which, we believe, is not necessarily appropriate in comparison with the practices in the other WTO forums.
