21. In conclusion, the Chairman said that there appeared to be a degree of dissatisfaction with the lack of guidelines for notifications under Article 4(d). He proposed that the Council follow the suggestion made by Switzerland and ask his successor to consult informally with a view to finding a mutually satisfactory way of handling this matter and report to the next meeting of the Council.
