25. The representative of India said that his delegation had taken note of the statement made by the United States indicating that the United States would be seeking consultations with India. He said that, in his delegation's assessment, India had fulfilled its obligations under the TRIPS Agreement. During the consultations that the United States was seeking, his delegation would have a constructive dialogue with the United States on the subject and explain the factual situation as well as why India was convinced that it had met the requirements in question.
