Mr. W. Armstrong (New Zealand)
F Technical Cooperation
34. The representative of Indonesia emphasized the importance of technical cooperation for developing country Members in facilitating their implementation of the Agreement. In this respect, information on the kinds of assistance developing country Members needed and developed country Members made available was crucial. He suggested that the Council explore the possibility of requesting the Secretariat to distribute information provided by developing country Members concerning their specific needs and requirements. His delegation believed that, thus, technical cooperation could be conducted in a more efficient way.
