The representative of Korea, referring to the responses given by the United States to the question Korea had posed to the United States at the review meeting in July 1996 (see document IP/Q/USA/1, Part VI), had the following follow-up questions for the United States: "Are the following works, the authors of which are nationals of other WTO Members, protected under the US Copyright Law: -a work published after 1922, but the author of the work died before 1947; -a work published after 1922, and the author of the work died after 1947; -a work published before 1922, but the author of the work died after 1947; -a work published before 1922, and the author of the work died before 1947?"
