63. The representative of Singapore also thanked the delegations that had presented papers. Putting aside the question of what the review in question would entail, his delegation would just like to flag that Article 24.2 said that the Council should keep under review the application of the provisions of Section 3 of Part II. However, there were many Members which were availing themselves of transitional periods during which Section 3 did not yet apply to them. Therefore, the standing of those Members during the review in question should also be considered in the future consultations by the Chairperson.
