At the accession of the USSR/Russian Federation to international agreements in the field of intellectual property rights the following reservations have been made: International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organizations, adopted at Rome on 26 October 1961 ("Rome Convention") According to the International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organizations (hereinafter - "Convention") the Russian Federation makes the following notifications: (a) According to Article 5(3) of the Convention, Russia will not apply the criteria of record provided in subparagraph (b) of Article 5(1) of the Convention; (b) According to Article 6(2) of the Convention, Russia will provide protection for broadcasts only if the headquarters of the broadcasting organization is situated in another Member State and the broadcast was transmitted from a transmitter situated in the same Member State.
