Tunisia
For Article 5.3 of the Rome Convention, Tunisia wishes to retain only the criterion of first fixation for the granting of national treatment to foreign producers of phonogrammes. For Article 6.2 of the Rome Convention, the Government of Tunisia intends to extend the advantages of national treatment only if broadcasting organizations meet both conditions, namely: -They must have their headquarters in another member State of the WTO and transmit the broadcasts covered by protection from a transmitter situated in the same member State. For Article 16.1(b) of the Rome Convention, the Government of Tunisia does not intend to apply subparagraph (d) of Article 13 of the Rome Convention. With regard to Article 6 of the Berne Convention, the Government of Tunisia does not wish to apply the restrictive provisions contained in this Article.
