6. Brief description
The amendments were made to carry out an international design system in accordance with the Hague Convention. Additionally, the duration of industrial design rights was extended from 15 years to 20 years after application, the declaration for exception to lack of novelty was made possible even after application, and the grace period was extended from 6 months to 12 months.
