6. Brief description

The law regulates in detail the issue of collective management of copyright and related rights, in terms of the rights of authors and holders of related rights, as well as in terms of obligations and powers of organizations for collective management of rights and users of those rights. The most important novelties brought by the Law are increased transparency of the work of collective management organizations, more detailed supervision procedure over the work of collective management organizations by the competent authority, enhanced inspection supervision over unauthorized use of copyrighted works and subject matter of related rights and stricter misdemeanour policy.
