The Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva has the honour to inform that pursuant to Article 70.8 of the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, the State of Kuwait wishes to notify that legal protection for all pharmaceutical products is provided by Act No.4 of 1964 relating to patents, designs and industrial models. The Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait wishes to inform the Council for TRIPS that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the State of Kuwait permits the filing of patent applications for the above-mentioned products.
