152. The Chairman said that Argentina's comments as well as the joint proposal were similarly right, in that there should be avenues for that consultation in the normal process or with contact points, and suggested that the Special Session leave the discussion at that point. 153. Turning to Hong Kong, China’s five principles enunciated in paragraph 42 of the minutes of the last session (TN/IP/M/22), he said some of them captured many points raised at this 23rd Special Session. He therefore asked delegations whether there were any objections to these five ideas being broadly acceptable as "guiding principles" for future work.
The Special Session took note of the statements made.
