65. The representatives of Ecuador, China, Cuba, Peru, the European Union, South Africa and Switzerland supported India's proposal to invite the CBD Secretariat to report on the outcome of the 10th COP held in Nagoya at the next Council meeting, noting that such an invitation was separate from the consideration of the request for observer status from the CBD Secretariat.
