The Chairperson recalled that responses to the follow-up questions posed by the delegation of India at the Council's meeting in February 1997 to the European Communities had been received and incorporated in document IP/Q2/EEC/1. However, there were still two other Members from whom the Secretariat had not yet received the text of the answers to certain follow-up questions posed in this review exercise. The Secretariat had been in touch with the delegations in question. She urged the Members concerned to provide the outstanding material without delay and suggested that the Council revert to the matter at its next meeting.
