69. The representative of the United States agreed with the representative of Brazil that the training of judges was an important part of technical assistance. He pointed out that the Library of Congress in the United States provided a thorough and well-established programme in the training of judges. He said that his delegation's submission of its technical assistance activities included a reference to that programme. He encouraged Members interested in taking advantage of that programme to contact his delegation directly for additional details.
