73. The representative of Egypt thanked the Secretariats of the WTO and WIPO for organizing the Joint Symposium and for all their technical cooperation activities for developing countries. His delegation believed that the next activities should focus on training, especially for judges and customs authorities, in order to meet the obligations of the TRIPS Agreement and in the meantime enjoy full rights under the transitional period. His delegation expressed its appreciation to developed country Members for submitting updated information on technical cooperation activities. Given that most of this information had been submitted recently, his delegation wished to revert to it at the next meeting after studying it carefully.
