9. The representative of Hong Kong, China thanked the Chairman for his report and commended him on his openness and transparency in providing Members with this opportunity to discuss the report. Her delegation believed that the guiding principles for future work could provide a basis for future discussions and urged Members to exercise the utmost flexibility with a view to completing the outstanding work within the Doha timetable. Her delegation would continue to perform a bridging role, wherever possible. On the guiding principles for future work, her delegation shared the Chairman’s view that the register should not impose undue financial and administrative burden on Members.
