Turning to the follow-up to the 11 reviews that had been initiated at the Council's meetings since April 2001 but which still remained on the Council's agenda, the Chairman recalled that, at its last meeting, he had informed the Council that the Republic of Congo and Qatar had provided responses to outstanding question posed to them. Since then, these responses had been circulated in documents IP/Q/COG/1/Add.1 and IP/Q/QAT/1/Add.1, respectively. He suggested that the regular review of the legislation of the Republic of Congo and Qatar be deleted from the agenda, it being understood that any delegation could revert to any matter stemming from the review at any time.
