The representative of Angola stressed the necessity of discussing LDC priority needs for technical and financial cooperation at the national level, in order to share information on the implementation of the TRIPS Agreement, on the system of notifications and on the main constraints preventing the full implementation of provisions such as the 2003 General Council decision on the Implementation of Paragraph 6 of the Doha Declaration on the TRIPS Agreement and Public Health. Such discussions could be followed by regional workshops for LDCs to share best practices, and a workshop in Geneva to address concerns of all LDCs.
