A NOTIFICATIONS UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE AGREEMENT
18. The Chairman said that, since its meeting in February 2012, the Council had received a number of updates to earlier notifications under various provisions of the TRIPS Agreement: • Colombia had notified Law No. 1343 of 31 July 2009 approving the Trademark Law Treaty and its Regulations, adopted on 27 October 1994; the treaty had entered into force for Colombia on 13 April 2012; • Japan had notified amendments to its Civil Provisional Remedies Act and its Code of Civil Procedure under "Other Laws and Regulations". These notifications had been made available in the IP/N/1- series of documents, and the actual texts of laws in sub-series of documents that were available in electronic form on the Documents Online database. 19. As regards notifications of contact points under Article 69 for the exchange of information and cooperation on trade in infringing goods, since the Council's meeting in February, Togo had notified its contact point. In addition, updates to contact points notified earlier had been received from Canada and Norway. The information on the Members' transparency toolkit page had been updated accordingly.
