The representative of Switzerland wondered whether these contact points necessarily had to be established in customs administrations; focusing on the rôle of contact points in relation to cooperation in the elimination of trade in infringing goods appeared to suggest this. His delegation, however, was of the view that contact points were, above all, points where information could be obtained, which existed on a national level for all questions relating to TRIPS.
