The representative of the United States, Australia, the European Communities, Norway and Canada said that their delegations were in the process of gathering information to update their 1995 submissions concerning their technical cooperation activities and expected to be in a position to communicate this information shortly. They supported the suggestion by the delegation of Egypt that developed country Members appoint one or more contact persons for requests for technical cooperation to be funnelled through. The suggestion was made that these contact points could be the same as those established under Article 69 of the Agreement.
