The representative of Peru said that the issue of technical cooperation under Article 67 of the Agreement was of great interest to developing country Members and should be a permanent item on the agenda of the Council for TRIPS. He was grateful for the importance attached to this topic by developed country Members. He noted that, in some cases, the information provided did not reflect all the elements included in Article 67, which might mean that cooperation required by Article 67 was not fully provided. He suggested that the issue of technical cooperation might be the subject of a recommendation from the Council for TRIPS to the Singapore Ministerial.
