47. The Chairperson said that, since the Council's meeting in May, the Czech Republic had notified contact points for technical cooperation purposes relating to the TRIPS Agreement. This notification, together with other additional information that had been received since the first revision of document IP/N/7, had been circulated in document IP/N/7/Rev.1/Add.1. Contact points for technical cooperation purposes had now been notified by 19 developed country Members. Consequently, there were still a number of developed country Members that had not yet notified their contact points for technical cooperation. The Chairperson urged those Members to notify their contact points by 1 September 1997, so that a complete list of contact points for technical cooperation could be circulated before the Council's next meeting, which was scheduled for 19 September 1997.
