Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act
The Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act is United States legislation signed into law on October 10, 2018 that modifies the copyright exceptions for blind of print disabled persons in 17 U.S.C. § 121 and adds a new section 17 U.S.C. § 121A regarding cross-border exchange of works made accessible to blind or print disabled persons. It implements the U.S. ratification of the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled.
