The Protection Against Unfair Competition Bill 2001 provides protection not only for undisclosed information consistent with Article 39 of the TRIPS Agreement, but also provides such protection for any act and/or practice in the course of industrial or commercial activity that is contrary to honest practices.
The specific section that deals with undisclosed information is section 8 of the Act.
