The representative of Hungary, in reply to a question by Australia on what the demandeurs meant by "no new substantive obligations", said that the level of protection provided for geographical indications for wines and spirits would not be raised under the system proposed. On the question of new burdens, he held the view that there would be new burdens; notification was itself a new burden. He wondered how Members could establish a system without creating new burdens.
