The Chairperson recalled that, following informal consultations in the Council, the Secretariat had been in contact with the International Bureau of WIPO regarding the provision of information on WIPO's activities of relevance to items on the Council's agenda. In response, the International Bureau had prepared a note (document JOB(02)/15), which he invited the representative of WIPO to introduce.
