92. The Chairman recalled that the Council had taken up its annual review of technical cooperation at its meeting in November 2003. In preparation for this, developed country Members, intergovernmental organizations with an observer status in the Council and the WTO Secretariat had updated information on their technical cooperation activities relevant to the implementation of the TRIPS Agreement. As some of the information had been received only shortly before the meeting, and most of it had only been available in its original language, he had indicated that it was his intention to provide an opportunity at the present meeting for the Members of the Council to make further comments on that information. Since that meeting, further reports had been received from New Zealand and Australia (IP/C/W/408/Add.6 and 7).
