The representative of Brazil indicated that his delegation's position on Japan's proposal of database systems, as reflected in paragraph 109 of the minutes of the TRIPS Council's meeting in October 2007, remained unchanged. He took note of some additional elements of clarity, particularly those provided by the European Communities and New Zealand.
