170. The representative of Switzerland thanked the WTO Secretariat and participating Members for their contributions towards the workshop on Article 66.2. The cooperation between the stakeholders ensured openness and the positive spirit that would certainly assist in solving many issues and achieving more effective reporting of incentives for technology transfer to LDCs. During the workshop, quality improvements geared at enhancing transparency, readability and comprehensibility of Article 66.2 reports were shown. He said that his delegation was working on its reporting on incentives for technology transfer and encouraged LDC Members to focus on their national frameworks, so that more enterprises would decide to transfer the technology. His delegation would gladly participate in and contribute to the next workshop, when developed country Members would present their updated reports under Article 66.2.
