The representative of Bangladesh thanked all developing country Members who had shown interest in Bangladesh' needs assessment, especially Switzerland and European Union for their readiness to provide assistance. Bangladesh greatly valued support by all partners in its national process of development, especially on meaningfully promoting IP in Bangladesh. He also thanked the WTO Secretariat for its efforts and for holding the recent workshop in Dhaka. He hoped that other development partners would follow suit and come forward to help Bangladesh to carry out its obligations under TRIPS.
